What are the best databases for health information?

To find current articles on health related issues, please see the Research Guide to Health & Wellness at http://libguides.aacc.edu/healthandwellness. This guide lists all of our article databases for health topics. If you are looking for health information more geared to the everyday reader, you might try "Health & Wellness Resource Center." If you need information more geared to the health professional, try "Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition." Both of these databases are full of articles and you can sort or limit results by recency.

To access these databases from off-campus, you just need an AACC Photo ID card or an AACC library card. Use the number under the barcode (NOT your student ID number) to gain access to all of our electronic content. When you click on an electronic resource in the catalog or access a database, you will get prompt to enter the barcode number. You enter the entire 13-digit number with no spaces. You will be able to move from one database to another for the duration of your online session.
