Does the library lend calculators?

Yes! Bring your AACC photo ID or library card to the Circulation Desk on the second floor of Truxal Library to check out a TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator or scientific calculator.

  • Calculators may be checked out for 3 days or 6 hours, depending on availability (check the catalog).
    • Supplies are limited, so longer loan periods are not possible.
    • All calculators can be used outside the library building, so you're welcome to take any to a test or class. Please note, however, that 6-hour calculators must be returned before the library closes that day.
  • Calculators may not be renewed. Borrowers must wait 1 business day after returning a calculator to check out another.
  • Overdue fines will be charged for late returns. Keeping a calculator 5 days past its due date will also result in a hold on your student record.
    • Plan ahead to return your calculator in person. Calculators should not be returned to book drops due to the risk of damage from heavy books.

If you are a participant in SASP, you may be eligible to borrow a graphing calculator for the full semester. Please visit the SASP office (LBRY 129) or contact (410) 777-2530 or sasp@aacc.edu to inquire.

Calculators are available for purchase at the AACC Bookstore.

Note: due to the COVID-19 pandemic, library calculators are not currently available. Please visit the AACC Bookstore site linked above for sale and rental information. If you are in the Student Achievement and Success Program (SASP), you may be eligible to borrow a calculator from their collection – contact sasp@aacc.edu for more information.
