The best way to find scholarly or peer-reviewed articles is by searching in the library's article databases. In many library databases, you can limit your search results to articles that are peer-reviewed. Limiting to only peer-reviewed articles can be done easily at the beginning of the search:

Or, after the results are returned:

Limit Search By options on Academic OneFile results page include Peer-Reviewed Journal checkbox

Ready to start searching? You can view all the available databases or browse databases by subject. If you are not sure where to start, try Academic OneFile or Academic Search Premier. These databases cover a wide range of different subjects and are chock-full of thousands of articles.
