Are there costs for late returns, lost, or damaged ILL material?

Overdue, lost, and damaged policies for interlibrary loan materials vary from library to library.  Patrons are responsible for any overdue, lost, or damaged charges that are levied by a lending library.

To avoid having costs issued by a lending library, make sure to return all borrowed material on time, and in the same condition as you received it.  This will help the Truxal Library maintain good relationships with other lending institutions.  Patrons who return ILL items late or in poor condition may have their ILL borrowing privileges suspended, and will be responsible for fees imposed by the lending library.
