For lost library materials, borrowers are billed the cost to replace the item, plus a $10.00 processing fee. If you find an item for which you have already paid a lost-item bill, you may return it to the circulation desk within 7 days of your original payment to request a refund. Please note that the $10 per-item processing fee is nonrefundable and, if the item is overdue, overdue fines will be withheld from your refund. Be sure to tell a staff member that you would like a refund when you return the materials.
No refunds will be issued after 7 days. Refunds may not be issued if items are returned with damage.
If you paid your bill to a collection agency, you may not be eligible for a full refund. For more information, visit the college Cashier's Office in the Student Services Building or call (410) 777-2236.
