How do I return a loaner laptop?

In-person returns

Laptop returns are accepted at:

If AACC campuses are closed due to a holiday or inclement weather, you will need to wait to return your items.

If you picked up your laptop from Arundel Mills (AMIL) or Glen Burnie Town Center (GBTC), you may return it to the same office and staff will send it back to the library. We recommend you call ahead to confirm office hours: reach AMIL at 410-777-2010 or GBTC at 410-777-2945.

Shipping returns

If the laptop was shipped to you, a return label was provided in your original package, which typically looks like this:

Pack the laptop, adapter, and any accessories carefully, filling empty spaces in the container with padding (wadded paper or bubble wrap; no packing peanuts, please!). Attach your shipping label and bring the package to any convenient UPS dropoff location. If you lost or discarded your shipping label, contact the circulation desk (circdesk@aacc.edu or 410-777-2238) as early as possible for instructions to request a replacement label. Loss of a shipping label will not excuse late returns.

Required for return

Your return must include all components and accessories that were provided at checkout, typically:

  • laptop adapter (charger)
  • carrying case
  • mouse (select laptops only)

If you fail to return any component or accessory (or return a different charger or case than was provided), you will be billed for the missing item's replacement. Replacement costs are determined by the college's IIT division.

Please don't include your library card or other personal documents or items with your return.
